Claire Marchant

Nature And Nurture; a lifetime of involvement in gardens has lead Claire to see an opportunity to use her specialist knowledge to provide discerning clients with a cutting garden which would offer an abundant supply of flowers, specifically selected for cutting, right on their own doorstep.

Her rural upbringing, horticultural education and varied experience put her in a unique place to create a very special experience for clients and hospices. She works from her beautiful old farmhouse near Midhurst, West Sussex where she founded The Floral Garden.

Martha MacGuffog

Martha developed a love for horticulture as she grew up in the beautiful Sussex countryside. She studied garden design at The English Gardening School in Chelsea and draws on her skills as an amateur sculptor to strike a balance of form and function in her design. Nothing clashes in nature; she always enjoys experimenting with colour when designing a new cutting garden or selecting flowers for an arrangement.

Sue Ellis

Sue's interest in cultivating and gathering flowers and foliage developed at a young age, growing up in a family passionate about horticulture and inspired by the "English garden".

Following a career in teaching and bringing up her family, she has now turned her original interest into a new love.  As part of the Floral Garden team, Sue is involved with  the cutting gardens as well as the workshops, sharing her love of plants, flowers and the great outdoors with others.
